Quarterback Allyson Hamlin wins the James Posey Award
Allyson Hamlin has had a season to remember. Hamlin became only the second woman to ever be recognized in the 67-year-history of the Pigskin Club of Washington, D.C. Donna Wilkinson, Divas Running Back, was the first female recipient, honored for her performance in 2003.
The James Posey Award is given to the best female and male pro players in the D.C area. The 2004 season saw Allyson set team passing records for yards (343) and touchdowns (5). She lead the Divas to a 9-1 record and is 17-3 over the last two seasons as a starter.
