Willams-Hemlock win 2007 Pigskin Award

Past winners include Wilkinson, Hamlin, Lucas, Tillman and Pecovsky

D.C. Divas all time leading receiver Nikki Williams and all time leading interceptor Kathryn Hemlock were recently awarded the James Posey award signifying them as the best female offensive and defensive players in the area.

Hemlock has led the Divas in interceptions the last 3 seasons and holds the career record with 6 interceptions returned for touchdowns. Williams is the Divas all time leader in catches and touchdowns receiving. Both Nikki and Kathryn were voted to the IWFL All -Star team in 2007 which featured a record 12 Divas.

The Pigskin club of Washington is in it's 70th year in existence promoting equality and excellence in sports. Past winners of the award include Donna Wilkinson, Allyson Hamlin, Vickie Lucas, Ivy Tillman and Rachelle Pecovsky.
