| D.C. Divas vs NY Sharks DIVAS REMAIN UNBEATEN WITH 34-18 WIN OVER NEW YORK The Divas trailed for the first time this season when New York marched down the field for a 6-0 lead. DB Kathryn Hemlock returned the ensuing kickoff for 70 yards and then kicked the extra point to put the Divas up 7-6. The offensive line had perhaps their best night of the season as they lead the way for a season high 291 yards of rushing. The Divas second score of the first quarter came on a QB sneak by Allyson Hamlin which made it 14-6. RB Tiffany Matthews had 90 yards rushing on 17 carries to lead the Divas. Her 5 yard touchdown run capped a 21 point first quarter and the Divas were ahead to stay at 21-6. The Sharks bounced back to make it 21-12 but WR Tara Stephenson took the kickoff and flew 70 yards for the Divas second score of the night on special teams. The extra point failed and the Divas were up 27-12 at the half. RB Rachelle Pecovsky-Bentley added 37 yards rushing in the second half and her 1 yard touchdown put the home team up 34-12. The Sharks battled to the end and added a fourth quarter score to make the final 34-18 Divas.
