| If you could play
any position, which one would you choose? Why? |
Probably the QB. Football is not only
a physical game, but its also very mental. QB’s have the biggest
challenge out of all the players and they have to be quick and smart.
I’d love to give that a try but I can’t throw for anything! |
|
What are your lifetime
aspirations? |
I would love to become wealthy by
making a positive difference in whatever it is that I am doing. I
want to become rich so I can find ways to give it back. I can’t
take it to heaven so why try to hold on to it? |
| What is your favorite
sports memory? |
Scoring my 1000th college career point.
It was very exciting. My family wasn’t there because I went
to school 5 hours a way and the game was during the work week. My
mom (bless her little heart) wanted me to hold out until the next
game but I had the hot hand that day. SORRY MOM!! |
| What was the first
sport you ever played? |
Football was actually my first sport
of choice, but of course when I was younger; the boys started getting
bigger, so I had to choose another sport. I started playing basketball
at the age of 12. |
| What was your biggest
adjustment to playing women's football? |
I had to get used to the terms. I
went from ‘slide’, ‘pivot’, ‘perimeter’,
‘man, you, ball’ to ‘windows’, ‘stack
right’, ‘stagger line ups’ and all sorts of visual
movements to get used to. |
| How did you get
into women's tackle football? |
I decided not to continue my basketball
career after college, and since there aren’t really structured
basketball leagues in the area, I decided to go back to football |
