IWhat
was the first sport you ever played? |
I started running track when I was
10 years old but my sister and I didn’t like running so we quit.
Ironically we ended up both attending the same college on full track
scholarships. |
What
is your favorite sports memory? |
In
high school, getting my volleyball jersey retired. And every minute
I spend wearing burgundy and gold! |
Who was your
childhood idol? |
My mother, because she has always
worked hard to get where she wants to be in life. This is a life lesson
that I am proud to have learned. |
Who
is your biggest supporter? |
My
twin sister. |
Which Diva
game has impacted you the most? Why? |
Last game of the season in 2008. That’s
when we knew that we would have to embark on a journey that would
forever change this team and hopefully for the better. That’s
when we all decided that failure was not an option and put it on each
and every one of us to get this team back to where we want to be. |
What does
it meant to be a "Diva"? |
It means to make the ultimate sacrifice
to do something that you truly love. To make lifetime friends out
of strangers whom you probably wouldn’t meet otherwise. To share
the same passion with 60 other women who bleed and sweat for the same
purpose. To cry together, laugh together, sweat together, win and
lose together. |
