D.C. DIVAS At Halfway Mark in Season

The D.C. Divas and the Baltimore Burn continue their battle towards a play off berth with each team winning their games this past weekend. The D.C. Divas beat the Asheville Assault 54-0 and the Burn beat the Tennessee Venom 57-0. The D.C. Divas were 3-4 last year and the Burn were winless.

The D.C. Divas have given the Burn their only loss this season in a 7-6 finish on May 4th. The Burn have given the D.C. Divas their only loss with a 2-7 finish on April 20th. Both teams are 4-1. The D.C. Divas and the Baltimore Burn meet again on June 1st, 7pm at Dundalk Community College in Baltimore.

The National Women's Football League has 21 teams playing in 5 divisions. The NWFL has signed up 4 teams for 2003. The league website, www.nwflcentral.com receives almost 2 million hits per month.
