See the DC Divas on the Greene Turtle Sports Show

The DC Divas are please to participate in the inaugural Greene Turtle Sports Show. The show will air Friday, March 28th at 1:30 and Saturday, March 29th at 11:30am on Comcast SportsNet.

The half-hour show will feature husband/coach and wife/player, Jamie and Gayle Dilla; veteran players Donna Wilkinson, Ivy Tillman, Brooke Hargrove and Monica Livingston; Head Coach Ezra Cooper and Co-owner Kelly George.

The DC Divas are preparing for the opening of the 2003 season in the National Women’s Football Association (NWFA). The Divas have been in the league for three years. All home games will start at 7:05pm and will be played at Eastern High School, 1700 East Capitol Street, NE, Washington, DC.

The Divas will play their first game on the road against the Erie Illusion in Erie, PA on April 12th. The Divas will have their home game opener on April 19th against the rival Baltimore Burn. Tickets for all games are now on sale.

The National Women's Football Association has 30 teams playing in 5 divisions. The NWFA has signed up 6 teams for 2004. The league website, www.womensfootballcentral.com receives almost 2 million hits per month.
