For the first time in team history, the D.C.Divas defeated their conference rivals from Philadelphia. The Phoenix ended the Divas 2003 playoff run with a 36-32 win in one of the best games in league history. The Divas are now 6-0 and tied for first place in the Northern Conference playoff chase.

The Divas dominating defense pitched their 5th shutout in 6 games this season. DE Subrena Rivers added a safety to make it 30-0 and DT Rebecca Glasgow was named the defensive MVP. A fumble recovery by LB Mozette Timmons lead to the DIVAS first touchdown of the game. RB Monica Livingston made it 6-0 with a 4 yard run. Then on the Divas second possesion, Offensive MVP LaShawn Foust continued her hard charging efforts with the first of her 2 touchdowns of the night. Her 11 yard run through a huge hole made it 12-0. Foust then converted the 2 point conversion for a 14-0 lead. Foust's second touchdown run of 6 yards made it 28-0. The Divas ran for 4 touchdowns behind a veteran offensive line who continues to get better and better.

RB Donna Wilkinson plunged in from 1 yard late in the game to make it 36-0. K Stacey Palmer added the extra point for the final score 37-0. QB Allyson Hamlin continued her steady leadership connecting
with WR Nikki Williams for a 54 yard touchdown that helped the Divas build a 28-0 halftime lead.

The Divas will host the Cincinnati Sizzle and former NFL great Ickey Woods on June 11th. Fans are encouraged to sign up for the D.C.
