GOVERNOR PRAISES DC DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON: Maryland Governor given title of honorary Diva

Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich honored the World Champion D.C. Divas on the steps of the statehouse and became an honorary Diva in the process. "I would like to thank this tremendous team for thinking of including me" said Ehrlich. " This jersey will be framed and take a special place in my office". The former Princeton linebacker took pictures, chatted and signed autographs with the first World Champions to visit the statehouse since the Baltimore Ravens visit in 2001. "He is tremendous believer in what athletics can do to not only benefit the individual and the team, but in this case the entire state. We are thrilled the Governor is a champion of small business and is on our sideline" said Rich Daniel, General Manager of the Divas.
