D.C. Divas v. Detroit Demolition

Divas Lose to Detroit, 38-16

The D.C.Divas ended a tremendous season with a hard fought loss to the 3 time defending champions from Detroit. The Demolition rolled to a 38 point lead, but the Divas behind the offensive line and RB Donna Wilkinson scored twice to cut the lead to 38-16 in the 4th quarter. The Divas ran out of time while Detroit won it's 41st straight game to advance to the Super Bowl on July 30th. Detroit's RB Aisha Brown ran for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns and was named the game's MVP.The Divas finished their second straight season with and undefeated regular season and 9-1 final record. Over the last 3 seasons, the Divas have compiled a 26-4 record.
