Harrisburg, PA – The D.C. Divas are clearly a team full of road warriors.

The Divas won their fourth straight road game and their sixth overall by shutout, as they blanked the Harrisburg Angels, 61-0. The Divas (7-0) completed their four-game regular season road schedule, outscoring their opponents away from home by a combined score of 176-0.

The D.C. offense was clicking on all cylinders, scoring nine touchdowns. Quarterback Allyson Hamlin had an incredibly efficient game, completing just four passes but with three of them going for touchdowns. Hamlin found three different receivers on her scoring throws – Tara Kallal, Natalie Randolph, and Rachelle Pecovsky.

Pecovsky snagged a 30-yard pass for a score, but she did most of her damage on the ground. Pecovsky turned in another masterful game, rushing for 113 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries. Like Pecovsky, Tara Kallal also had three touchdowns on the day – two on the ground and one through the air. Nikki Williams also added a rushing touchdown as the Divas rolled to another win.

The Angels (0-6) continued a rough first season of play, as they were unable to crack the powerful Divas defense. Defensively, the Divas were led by Drea Major and Trigger McNair, who recorded five tackles apiece. The Divas led 20-0 after one quarter and 41-0 at halftime, and they tacked on two more touchdowns in the third quarter of a dominant victory.

The D.C. Divas will close out the regular season next Saturday at home against the Connecticut Crush. The Divas will try to extend their regular season winning streak to 24 games and finish off their third straight undefeated regular season.
