D.C. Divas Accept Forfeit Victory From Philadelphia Firebirds

Philadelphia, PA – The D.C. Divas accepted their first forfeit victory in team history Saturday, as the Philadelphia Firebirds forfeited their scheduled game to the Divas.

The Firebirds (0-4) have been outscored in their first three games this season by a combined score of 167-0. As a result, the Independent Women’s Football League (IWFL) agreed to allow the Firebirds to forfeit two of their three remaining home games to the D.C. Divas and the Boston Militia.

The Divas (2-1) return home next Saturday for a contest against their rivals, the Militia. The Divas will also host the Firebirds on May 29 in the Divas’ final home game of the regular season.
