| “Flo-Jo” (Florence Griffith Joyner)…she had everything a person could want. She was successful in her sport, had a husband who supported her passion and was also her coach, and had a family. |

| People thought I was crazy to try out for tackle football. I had to rely on my own strength. |

| Cycling, hiking, obstacle course 5K’s, cooking, and being the best parent I can be. |

| I have always wanted to play football…I just wasn’t aware of the opportunities available. I enjoy the sport. The skill and the discipline are what attracted me to play. |

What does it mean to you to be a D.C. Diva?

| Becoming a D.C. Diva has filled me with pride. I worked hard to prove my skill and become part of the team. I am proud to be part of a team that constantly strives to be the best and gives back to the community that supports them. |
