What are your favorite hobbies or special interests?

| I successfully completed my first AIDSRide in 1999, riding from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Washington, DC. I rode 330 miles and raised over $2,500 for the beneficiaries. In 2000, I once again rode the DC AIDSRide and added the Twin Cities-Chicago AIDSRide to my schedule…I rode 550 miles and was able to raise over $4,000. |

| While at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, I was a two-sport athlete all four years and was named “Athlete of the Year” my senior year. I was also voted the first female Senior Class President in the 101-year history of the Academy. |
