As a person who appreciates encouragement from others, I am a huge motivator for others. I believe in teamwork and contributing to a team setting to reach a goal. I also bring the mindset of being a “student” of the game. Any opportunity in which I can add something new to my game is crucial for me. |

Who was your childhood idol? Why?
|
My cousin Taylor. As a kid I thought she was so cool and literally played every single sport she played. |
Who is your biggest supporter?

If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose? Why?
|
Serena Williams. I would ask her how she dealt with decades of criticism and still maintained her status as one of the best athletes in the world. |
Who is your female sports idol? Why?
|
WNBA/NBA Hall of Famer, Swin Cash. I’ve always appreciated the intensity she played with but also how she always refined her game to play with any team, anyone, and in any environment. |
Who is your favorite NFL player or WFA player? Why?

Maurice Jones Drew. He was always regarded as a smaller player at the running back position but made up for it with sheer strength and power. His mindset of being the hardest working player despite his height, is a feat worth respecting. |

I play harmonica and collect baseball hats/dad hats and have a collection of over 40+ hats. |

What are some of your lifetime aspirations or goals you wish to share?

My career goal is to be a city planner and to help underserved communities (like the ones I grew up in) obtain resources and services that truly help them thrive and provide for themselves or families. I believe in true equity for those who have been excluded from previous actions/decisions of cities and policy makers. |

What is your favorite sports memory?

Hitting the Game Winning Shot and Winning a key jump ball (which helped us Win the title) in my HS Basketball Team’s Championship Game in 2012 |
How did you hear about women’s tackle football?
|
I first heard about Women’s Tackle football when I played flag football in the 4th grade. My coach was always trying to get me to go to a DC Divas game. |
Why do you want to play women’s football?
|
For me it’s a space in which I cherish as a haven. While life throws wild punches and jabs sometimes, I look to football as an outlet and a place that I come to for peace. |
What does it mean to you to become a D.C. Diva?
|
To have the honor to play for one of the most highlighted teams in women’s tackle football is feat unlike no other. The history of the Divas is rich and to have a chance to add to it is an opportunity that I will take pride in. |
