2013 Tackle The World Premiere
D.C. Divas general manager Rich Daniel produced a documentary about the 2013 IFAF Women’s World Championships. Tackle the World: Tough Game, Tougher Women covers the Women’s World Championships, from Team USA’s practices in Chicago all the way through the gold medal game.
The Tackle the World premiere was held in Greenbelt, Maryland, at the Academy 8 Theatres in Beltway Plaza Mall on September 22, 2013. Rich Daniel opened the evening by talking about how the project came together. After the screening of the film, four members of gold-medal winning Team USA held a roundtable Q&A with members of the audience. D.C. Divas Callie Brownson, Donna Wilkinson, and Becky Worsham joined Chicago Force quarterback Sami Grisafe in answering questions. The evening concluded with a musical performance by Grisafe, gold medal-winning quarterback of Team USA and an aspiring singer-songwriter.
