Chris Young Bio Chris Young serves as the Director of Athletic Training Services and Outreach at Inova Sports Medicine. Young earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s College of California and his MAT from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He worked as a student athletic trainer while studying at both St. Mary’s and Texas Tech, and he also had athletic training internships with the Oakland Raiders and the Philadelphia Phillies. Young has served for the past six years as an athletic trainer for U.S. Club Soccer. As an athletic trainer at Inova Sports Medicine, Chris Young has assisted Inova’s partnerships with several youth sports organizations, such as Vienna Youth Soccer, the Great Falls Soccer Club, and the Great Falls Lacrosse and Field Hockey Association. He uses ImPACT (Immediate Post-concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) software, a computerized neurocognitive assessment tool, to assist in providing concussion baseline testing for athletes. |
