Coach Jason White Bio

Coach Jason White played college football at Montgomery College before getting his start in coaching in 1999 at Northwestern High School, where he coached their offensive and defensive lines. Coach White then joined the coaching staff at his alma mater, spending two years as the defensive line coach at Montgomery College before becoming their defensive coordinator for two seasons. When Montgomery College shut down its football program, he was soon named as the defensive line coach at Bowie State University.

Coach White joined the D.C. Divas in 2004 as an assistant offensive line coach under Coach Jim Tench. Along with Fred Stokes and Vince Spigone, White and Tench were part of a group of former Montgomery College coaches – nicknamed “The Band” – who served as assistant coaches for the Divas in 2004 under head coach Ezra Cooper. When Coach Tench left the Divas in 2004, Coach White became the Divas’ full-time offensive line coach in 2005.

Coach White struck up a connection with the Divas’ star linebacker Amy Juang while she was sidelined with a shoulder injury in 2004. Three years later, Coach White and linebacker Juang were married.

After a few years away from coaching women’s football, Jason White returned to the Divas’ sideline in 2009 as the team’s defensive coordinator. Coach White spent two seasons as the Divas’ defensive coordinator, helping lead the Divas to the national championship game in 2009.
