Renee Nyarko Bio

Renee Nyarko, DPT, earned her undergraduate degree in Biopsychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in 2003. She later received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) in 2006.

Nyarko provides comprehensive treatment to her patients using a wide variety of manual therapy and taping techniques, complimented by exercise, to help patients return to a healthy lifestyle. She treats a wide variety of orthopedic injuries, especially those involving the shoulder. In her spare time, she volunteers her time to a non-profit organization that provides hospital and school supplies to villages in her family’s home country of Ghana.
