Who was your childhood idol? Why?
Mia Hamm and the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team that won the 1999 World Cup. They are considered the babies of Title IX, and because of these ladies, the popularity and growth of women’s sports was put on the map. They were true pioneers of the game, and Mia was the youngest woman to ever play for the U.S. national team.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My dad and my sister.
If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose? Why?
My uncle…just to see if I have lived up to his expectations.
Who is your female sports idol?
Sue Bird.
Who is your favorite NFL player? Why?
Drew Brees…he was told in high school that he was too small to play the quarterback position, but as we can all see, he had a great college career at Purdue University and is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL.
What are your favorite hobbies or special interests?
Softball, reading, and working out.
What is your favorite travel location?
The Dominican Republic.

Pizza.

I have two: In These Girls, Hope is a Muscle and Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.

Kelly Clarkson.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Athletic, crazy, passionate.
What are your lifetime aspirations?
To become either a school counselor or a firefighter/medic.
What was the first sport you ever played?
Softball.
What is your favorite sports memory?
Making the varsity softball team my freshman year, and walking on and playing Division II softball.
How did you get into women’s tackle football?
A friend who has been playing for many years said I should give it a try.
What was your biggest adjustment to playing women’s football?
The physicality and the speed of the game.
If you could play any other position, which one would you choose? Why?
Either wide receiver or cornerback, because I have really good hands and pretty good speed.
What is your most memorable Divas moment?
Getting a fumble recovery for a touchdown against Central Maryland.
Why do you play women’s tackle football?
I love the game of football, and I want to play the game at the highest level. The D.C. Divas is the best women’s football has to offer.
What does it mean to you to be a D.C. Diva?
Being part of a winning tradition.
