How would you describe yourself in three words?
Sarcastic, angry Asian.
What is your sports background?
I have been playing flag football in the Metropolitan Area Women’s Flag Football League (MAWFFL) for over five years. Prior to that, I played and refereed some flag football games at Purdue University.
What is your most memorable Divas moment?
D.C. Divas at Philadelphia Liberty Belles in 2001. It was our first game, and we lost badly to a more experienced team. But it was the first time that I could fulfill a dream of playing tackle football.
Why do you play women’s tackle football?
I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be a part of the D.C. Divas women’s football team. I think it’s a dream come true, for the team and me, to experience this new era in women’s sports.
What does it mean to you to be a Diva?
A D.C. Diva is a woman who loves to play smash-mouth football, has good sportsmanship, and is proud to represent women in sports.
