I went to my first basketball camp sophomore year and hit a 3 off the backboard while in. I was proud lol. |
How did you hear about women’s tackle football?

I heard about it maybe 12 years ago and wanted to play when I lived in Alabama. Recently, my brother and I were watching football and he asked if I wanted to play. Of course, I said yes! |
Why do you want to play women’s football?
|
I’m a competitor at heart and love getting physical. Being able to play women’s football also shines light on a sport that was only seen as a man’s sport. Not anymore…I’m proud to be a part of something bigger by being able to carry it on for the future female football players. |
What does it mean to you to be a D.C. Diva?
|
To me it means family, sisterhood, and teamwork. Looking out for one another on and off the field. Working as ONE to achieve many goals. Being a role model for other girls that love the game of football by showing them that it can be done. |
