Who is your biggest supporter?
My Mother and Grandmother: no matter what it is they have been there for me through everything and still by my side.

If you could have a conversation with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose? Why?
I would choose my older brother on my father side of the family. He passed away with prostate and leukemia Cancer at age 26. I really had a close bond with him, and I loved how we always would have late night conversations about how we are not siblings. However, since he was writing music and I was writing poems we used to always create things together.

Lisa Leslie

Who is your favorite NFL player? Why?
Sean Taylor, the energy, fire and love that he brought to the game always made it so much fun to watch. His spirit still with us (RIH).

What are your favorite hobbies or special interests?
Playing volleyball and football, Coaching Playing video games, traveling, happy hour, writing poems etc.

What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is remembering the titans.

Parkers and Moesha

So far…cruising to the islands every year

It’s not a quote but I have a favorite scripture: I can do all things that strengthen me Philippians 4:13

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Competitive, caring, and funny.

What are some of your lifetime aspirations or goals you wish to share?
To mentor others, give back, and help those that may need a little push along the way. Building my own volleyball gym and having my own club team.

What was the first sport you ever played?
Soccer

What is your favorite sports memory?
Discovering a sport that have no idea existed (Volleyball) and taking it to the next level of coaching.

How did you hear about women’s tackle football?
I knew the teams existed but didn’t think to go out for a tackle team when it was a lot of stuff going on.

Why do you want to play women’s football?
I’m a competitor at heart and love getting physical. Football is my favorite sport and I’ve been trying to get on the field when sporting my brother and my favorite NFL teams at the stadiums. I used to say Imagine me suited up, what you think (my family would say they are going be scared of you when they see you coming)

What does it mean to you to be a D.C. Diva?
To achieve success in football, football players need to find a balance and learn to be passionate, while maintaining composure, and demonstrating resilience. “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do. Also, it means family, sisterhood, and teamwork. Looking out for one another on and off the field.
