Who was your childhood idol? Why?
|
My father…he always led by example and challenged me to play sports
from an early age, because I always seemed to want to play sports with the boys. He has
always been my number one supporter with anything I have my mind set on accomplishing.
Most importantly, he has taught me the true meaning of resiliency. |

My father. |
If you could have a conversation with
anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose? Why?

My great-grandmother, Doris Betts…she was basically my sideline coach
right alongside my father. She was never a sports player, but she was a great supporter
and seemed to know the games better than anyone. |

Friends, and social media has given me some insight into the game.
|
Why do you want to play women’s
football?
|
I am an all-around athlete and would like to participate in a new
sport and learn the game. I can be versatile, and I love the game just as much as I do
watching it. I like the camaraderie that being a teammate gives you, and this is a once
in a lifetime opportunity that I’m willing to take head on. |
What does it mean to you to be a D.C.
Diva?
|
Being part of an organization that is bigger than anything you have
ever imagined is incredible. It would mean the world to me. I’m not from the East Coast,
but to show what I have, both on and off the field, would be a great experience. I
believe that I can lead by example and set a new standard being part of this team. I
enjoy the camaraderie that being part of a great sports organization gives you. Being
given this opportunity is incredible in itself, but this would definitely be one of my
greatest accomplishments in my sports career. |
