2004 Turkey Bowl

A record crowd of 8,200 watched the D.C. Divas fight the good fight, but ultimately lose, to the men of the Sports Junkies. The Divas kept the game close in the first half with a touchdown pass from quarterback Allyson Hamlin to wide receiver Nikki Williams, and the Divas trailed the Junkies late in the first half, 7-6. But the Junkies pulled away in the second half of this hard-fought contest, winning the 2004 Turkey Bowl by a final score of 28-6.
